My life is definitely on the privileged side. I am apart of a great family, i grew up smart, I live in a decent sized house, and go to a great school. What more could I want? well, for the most part my life is incredibly boring. I want to do this i want to try that. I want to take piano lessons, and I want to do sports. But I dont want to bother m......   reply

I get that it maybe a problem, but isn't it a problem just like everything else may be a problem, depending on the person/situation? There's nothing inherently bad with yaoi, and I wouldn't want "problematic yaoi" to disappear, because I am the type that prefers it that way. I often times can't stand the fluffy, slice of life yaoi that has no twist......   2 reply

It's not bad, honestly. It's just not GOOD. I'm sure a lot of us can relate to this at some point in our lives. These days I've been forgetting a lot of things and passing out, falling to the floor out of dizziness, opening my eyes and just laying there thinking to myself, "What the fuck am I doing? I'm literal trash." I'm wasting my life, I'm hav......   reply

I read this carefully and all of the replies that complain that people aren't listening to what you're saying but really, what ARE you saying? What is it you want? "By no means am I saying you shouldn't read yaoi." Well, that's good because you don't get to tell anyone what they can and can't read. "But what I am saying is that ya'll need to st......   8 reply

My mind is in clutters reading these responses ahah... Guys, what he means by "you don't have a say in what does or does not affect gay people and what affects reality or not", is basically this: You say yaoi does no harm. It's fiction. What could it possibly be doing, huh? But have you ever realized, or bestowed upon a comment of young fujos talk......   2 reply

First, read whatever you want to read, honey. Don't let anyone censor you. Second, what a lot of people responding to these topics don't get is that yaoi--like a lot of fiction--is a metaphor. It was originally conceived for and created by straight women as a means of exploring female sexuality. How does fiction about two men explore female sexuali......   3 reply

(new post) Okay - am I getting this right - you want to say that yaoi affects you negatively because there are so many toxic relationship tropes in yaoi. That makes sense. That is valid. But you should also realize that other people have the right to fantasize about these scenarios or like them. That is something that those people are also free to ......   1 reply

Yikes, yikes and big yikes! All these pissed off girls completely misunderstanding this topic and going off just proves the OP's point! Y'all read yaoi, right? If you read yaoi, then there is a 99.9% chance you can read this exact post. Read the damn post again instead of saying stuff like "so what, only gays can read yaoi?" or "boohoo, you hurt my......   3 reply

So what’s your point? You literally contradicted yourself, if you wanna say something don’t be shy. First you say yaoi affect gay people and then you say it doesn’t, y’all talking like boys don’t read yaoi... you just wanna white knight so bad for gay guys, defending lgtbq+ people it’s ok but when you just do it so you portray a good im......   3 reply
