Definitely try to think of all of the things about Vic you didn't like. If you don't have anything you didn't like about him, that's probably a sign you didn't know him as well as you thought. If you have to make up/ speculate not so great things about him try that too. Every time you feel like you miss him remind yourself of these, remind yourself...... reply
have you tried to give vic a realist and cold look? i mean really long and hard look, specially focus in his flaws, weakness and annoying habits, most of the time when we find ourselves being fond of someone in our past is because we came to idealize this person and only their good qualities come to mind, when in reality no one is perfect 2 reply

I would say to maybe write a story, or if you would rather draw, about you and Vic. Draw/write the passion between you two and then illustrate the ending you wanted rather than the one you got.
Maybe a simple waving each other away, wishing the best for one another, give yourself some sort of closure.
