Ever since Lial, Pearl Boy, Potn, Love or Hate, I rarely give interest on reading recommendations within the fujodan community (especially on tiktok/instagram). I may add them on my reading list because of the high ratings, but mostly it just ends up getting piled up. reply
I'm reading mostly everything (not only bl) and 3/4 of that is basically just scrolling through. Most of stories are lacking originality in both story and characters. Sometimes I'm forgetting everything after 2-3 days. Bless you mangago for that 'already read' reply
a major pet peeve of mine is when bad/evil characters get a side story/find love in the end. like, why would i care about the love life of the mc's abusive ex???? obviously, this isn't always the case, but it pisses me off when it does happen.

I hate that it's so normalized when the main couple meets when one of them is an adult and the other is a child. like bro THATS NOT NORMAL. and I'm guilty of reading stories where this trope happens (under the greenlight I'm looking at u) but it throws me off so bad like whyyyy??? the only instance where I think it could be okay is if they met like...... reply
I love toxic characters, angst, misunderstandings, etc. But somehow miscommunication irks me so bad I hate it. Feels hypocritical I know. I've also come to prefer the dynamic of masculine/buff bottoms with prettier/more feminine tops. I also think we need more versatile/switch couples in yaoi/BL. 1 reply
I absolutely hate HATE HATE Whiny, crybaby people in the story’s that constantly stutter. Storylines where there’s an obvious male lead but the author just keeps a second one just to torture them and lead them on another thing is that I believe some of these story’s would not have a happy ending together and I just think some shouldn’t!! I think its kinda odd it when the whole friend group are gay like when they're a group of friends that didnt know they were gay and in the end are all suddenly in their gay pairs it doesnt make sense Idk reply
