fr i want to know

So my parents want me to go to med school and then join the navy to do my residency, but I am not that bright or that motivated to do that.

You guys think I should go my own way and just become professor at a college? ooorrrr.....

I want to know your thoughts on the saying, "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me."
Because I think that's a bunch of bullshit, I could care less if someone broke my arms. I think words can hurt way more than broken bones can. Like sure maybe not physically at first, but most definitely mentally. I want your opinions on this saying (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
