My favourite book is Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke. It's technically the first book in a trilogy, but I've only read up to the 2nd and it works perfectly fine as a stand alone book so you don't have to read the other ones.
It's about a dragon going on a journey to find a new home for the rest of the dragons after humans start threatening the vall...... 1 reply
The Hannibal series, easily my favorite.
East of Eden by John Steinbeck, he sucks ass at writing women but holy shit did this shatter my insides like a glass dildo.
Gone girl was pretty good, your classic unreliable narrator.

If you're in the mood for insane worldbuilding, disturbing sci-fi body horror, detailed images, and a crazy story that you will never forget all in the span of around 160 pages I would highly recommend "All Tomorrows" by C.M.
