I'm one of the very few with a twisted personality. If I feel too lonely, I think of all of the things I would do to a potential partner, and then realize that it's better for said potential partner if I were single. Or I talk to the few friends I have. reply
I think my standards are too high. Even if there is someone that I like and miraculously they like me back, my head always finds a way to find flaws about the person. It's horrible and I hate myself for having this type of defence mechanism. So that's why I'm single, I'll never let myself be happily in love. reply
I'm picky. I have a domineering and manipulative personality when it comes to romantic relationships, so I look for a person who is easy to control and easy to break when needed. That said, I'm also very socially awkward. I consider it a miracle I can even make friends. reply
Please be careful with advice given from strangers only based on a few paragraphs. Advice from a friend or a relative is much more valuable as they know you and your girlfriend. let me see, my self-confidence is low AND I'm afraid of relationships (but I still want to be in one), I never dated anyone, I kissed once when I was 16 and I'm 18yo now and never happened again lol, I'm socially awkward etc, my friends say that 'everything has its time' but I guess I'm just ugly :) 3 reply
First let's get this out of the way: send this essay to her. Make her read it. Sit down and talk to her, heart to heart. Think about it yourself. Only you can make the best sound judgement, because a stranger on mangago will not be able to understand best what your relationship is like, and, most importantly, how YOU feel.
