Honestly I don't believe things like "You have to do this so they (the ghost/spirit) don't bother you", but I do believe they exist. My principle is "I don't bother then, they don't bother me".

Not exactly a superstition, but if I saw a scary vid or something and can’t fall asleep, I play bossa nova.
