For me, BL is a bit more... intense? Like it dares to be a bit more intim (I have a feeling that means something else in english) than hetero stories without there being actual sex scenes. Bc its the first genre I've read. I slowly move on to other genre's yaoi-seinen-action-horror-shoujo-fantasy-isekai . So yaoi will have a special place in my heart bc it introduced me to the world of manga.   reply
