Being a broke college student helps.
Personally as a Genshin Impact player I save up for characters I really want. Seeing the number of wishes rise up is very satisfying.
Also, weirdly enough playing multiple gacha games helps. I can save up on Hsr while spending all my wishes amd Genshin etc.

I made myself choose a character and only spend on that one alone, so I'll have the satisfaction of getting my favourite. And esp if you're early game it's good if you choose one that's easy to build and useful for your team. For me it was Zhongli from GI and it was the best choice ever he never left my team since then.

If you can't control it better to quit it, it's not worth it at all spending money on gacha , save yourself from the torment because it doesn't even feels rewarding in the end reply
My only motivation not to spend is my bank account and my hungry ass that i need to feed.
And i love being f2p, because i know i work for my characters (i am also a 'bit' lucky, so that helps). reply
Whenever I see them in my fyp I legit break down,my deranged mental health resurfaces,my heart feels throbby and all of a sudden I find myself in a complete void of unending sadness which will reduce my lifespan.I keep thinking about him surviving.

Bruv im open about it bc mann- thats a normal thing everyone has, i dont annouce it to everyone, but when i need a pad, or take it off in a public restroom idc i just RIP IT OFF, also if someone asks why i dont look like im feeling okay, even if its my dad thats not really familiar with it, im open and talk abt it and explain some things to him so ...... reply
Better to be f2p since the start, that's how I keep playing since I don't focus on the gacha part much and it doesn't make me that unmotivated (Actually im just unable to buy any in-app purchases) reply
Leave while you still can lmao. But if you really want that gacha life then listen when I tell you that if you don't pay with money you pay with time. I have the fortune of being very picky with my characters, thus I'm able to save a lot of currency from just playing the game alone and then having enough to where I could get a character no matter w...... reply
