For me, I started watching anime with a lot of shonen stuff, and the girls in shonen are kinda just shitty or just there so the main character can have a girlfriend, so I just grew to dislike anime girls in general. I just kinda stopped reading sl cause of the weak kya-y girl tropes after that and just read bl instead. I'm perfectly fine with girls...... reply
Im bi and idk i like to read fluffy bl or shounen ai it makes me happy seeing them happy or sumthing i like reading sad shounen ai cus i wanna feel something idk cus im numb lately reply
Because most of the time females in shoujo are denser than a rock with the personality of sheet of paper.
Also because I love to read stories that aren't too long and most other genre tend to have more chapters. For some reason I find it a lot easier to find short stories in bl genre than any other. In the end a story is a story if I like it I keep...... reply
