I think what most people are upset about (me at least) is when rape leads to romance, and people support it because "it's fiction" and "there's always bad stuff happening in the world and you don't get upset about that in literature." I prefer Manga. I don't have a whole lot of free time and I have trouble getting invested in long stories, so I prefer the short, sweet and sexy style of manga. my opinion on it is that it honestly isn't great that it's such a yaoi troupe but i don't kink shame either, so i would just say that at the end of the day it is fiction even if it is messed up and it has an audience. so let that audience enjoy it but if they ever experience sexual assault (I hope they do not) then they might have a different view ...... reply
