i dropped manhwa for like two years and the sudden wave of newgen yaoi and yuri readers inspried me to pick it up again but its a lot more casual than it was when i was a tween bc i have a life so i think thats what happened to like everyone 1 reply

I get what you mean, but at the same time it's a blessing in disguise. This site used to be twitter 2.0 the way it featured constant drama, the cliques formed over popular users, the anti/pro-fic divide. I feel nowadays everyone just reads their manga/webtoons in peace more or less. 2 reply

I think I’ve identified the source of the problem. We’re talking about cheek dimples, right?
Dimples irl usually appear on round faces, or in areas with well defined fat, and/or on faces that have relatively prominent cheeks when they smile. Manhwa characters don’t have either of those, so it looks out of place.
