Okay, so this someone you looked up to did something wrong that you hate them for it and now you're wanting to like them again? That's...complicated. Why did you hate them in the first place? I dunno. You gave them a chance and you believed in them, but they took advantage of it. Not only that, they try to apologize with words. Your puny words cant cover up your horrific and traumatizing actions, so get on your knees and bark like a dog. Maybe then I'll forgive you. reply
You’re already talking about the respect you had for them in the past tense ; do you really wish to unhate them ? If so , it’ll occur naturally due to their actions , would also depend on whether or not you’re ready to give it another chance , but don’t force yourself into stuff anymore
