So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
i was raised to believe that marriage is a burden, my father was abusive but my mother was in a position where she stayed for the money. i personally feel like marriage is a hassle, you're basically committing to a lifetime with that person. not only does it cost money but if you divorce it'll be too much effort. like being tied to someone doesn't ...... reply
