So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I'm a bit of a weird one since I decided I didn't want to marry a man long before puberty. I maintain that to this day. Being single is absolutely wonderful. I don't have to put on airs for people, don't have to go out if I don't feel like it, I can stay up to all hours reading, studying or writing and not worry I'm keeping someone up.
