will you guys, like, get married one day ?
So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I'm 25 and in a 7 year long relationship. Neither of us feel like getting married, although we plan on staying together indefinitely. Everyone around us (friends, family, coworkers) find it strange that we have no desire to get married. The only difference I see between our current situation and being married is a piece of paper. reply
