do you you think it's a great representation ? i personally don't think so. i'll take a human example : Call me by your name. masterpiece for sure, but not a good representation: - Fetishism of gay sex - Both are straight but you know just... waiting for the right girl - Minor x Adult. not a good relationship tho.
There's a huuuuuge gap between yaoi and gay people being represented in mainstream media, so I think putting Call Me By Your Name and, idk, BJ Alex in the same box is kind of a mistake. Anyways, both can be pretty misleading and I wouldn't say they are part of the "queer culture" at all. If anything, one of the only pieces of fiction that truly rep...... reply
