What do you think about shota manga?
I'm curious on how people feel about shota manga? I kind of have a problem with it. I'm from the US so to us it's like child porn. Also I have 2 boy's. A 14 and a 6 year old. (Yes I'm old) I understand it's fiction but it just seems wrong. At least be 16 plus otherwise it just grosses me out.
I'm 25, and I can't stand shota. The few times I've visited the homepage of myreadingmanga, I've seen cover images of children in explicit poses, and it's disgusting. just realized what does that mean and thank god i haven't read any 'shota' manga , its like child porn to me
i know its just a manga but still , i hate it reply

And I know that the counter argument is the age of consent of other countries, but it's still ...... 1 reply
I'm from the u.s. and I read shota. It's fiction, a piece of fantasy and a bunch of pages that shouldn't be taken seriously. And I'm not going to sit here and say 12-14 year olds arent having sex because at my brother's junior high graduation, there were graduates with babies who weren't their nephews/nieces or sister/brothers. 1 reply
This is a long response, but if you actually are curious about the issue, please read on. I wish we could more freely discuss these issues as a culture without stigma and projection.
Let me just start by saying that I have a complicated reaction to it on a personal level, in that it disgusts me most when the child is portrayed as enjoying what's ...... 2 reply
