Usually what makes me enjoy yaoi is when the plot isn't so shallow. When the plot, cliche, but the author is able to build around it with detail and make it a different experience from the previous cliche plot. I want depth in everything. Not just some "Oh I accidentally spilled coffee on your shirt. We will coincidentally meet two weeks later and ...... reply
