Why are some of y'all on here so afraid to call things out when it's rape or abuse??? Better to recognize that it is an unhealthy relationship than to think it's normal. Just because it's published doesn't it is actually a good thing. I'm not saying you should stop reading whatever the manga is but damn...some people really go out of their way to defend assault lmao
It's definitely a real problem in the community. Rape and assault can be written tastefully into a story as long as it's recognised as bad and there's some reason WHY it's in there, along with some kind of consequence. I hate when I see non-con and the victim either acts like it never happened or it somehow kick-starts their relationship...

Learn to separate fiction from reality. Rape is bad in real life, we all know that. But that doesn't mean fantasies about it are also bad. There are people that actually enjoy rape play, but would never actually rape someone that's unwilling. 5 reply

I have absolutely no problem if rape, abuse, kidnapping, whatever form of abuse you want is in a story. No problem with it whatsoever. I do have a problem however with how authors often portray a characters response to these actions, and then what some readers reply with in order to defend these authors.
