What was your very first anime and manga?
My first anime was Princess Tutu(This was before I knew what anime was! Still my favorite one EVER!), and my first manga was Yumeiro Patissiere. Such a good manga! The anime is totally different
Don't know if people consider Avatar an anime, anime-influenced, American Anime, cartoon or whatever. But I watched that first and it was probably the first "anime" I really enjoyed and ultimately got me into the style of anime. Also, I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! and didn't really enjoy it, but really liked the GX version.
