Unexpectedly, yes... When I first charged into yaoi, I only had storyline/R18 scenes in mind but after a long time of reading all the different stories, both yaoi and shounen ai (sometimes), I would start to really consider whether or not what the characters would feel would be similar to my own thoughts.
