So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I don't ever want to get married. Sometimes I fantasize about being with someone with a unique personality and likes the same thing I like, but that's all it is, a fantasy. I don't want one it real life. I'm cool on my own, and I'm the only one that can make myself truly happy. I never once imagined that I'll settle down and have a family of my own...... 2 reply
