So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
To simplify my answer - Yes.
I am currently married. I'm 25 and have been married since I was 20. Sounds early, right? My husband is 28 and has an 8-year-old son who I have been taking care of as my own since he just turned 3.
When I was younger I thought, surely, I would never get married. I would never get married and I would never have a kid...... reply
