Hi I'm just a newbie here. I have some questions to asked especially for gay people out there since I'm new to lgbt group. It started this year when I found myself reading BL mangas and watching movies and series. I myself am homophobic person in the pasts years which I have a lesbian friend and a bisexual friend and I kinda feel guilty from being a sexist person. I know I'm such an ass that time when she confessed to me about her sexuality. Since Im the only straight girl in our group of 3, I'm the last one who knows since they're scared of me finding it. At first I'm mad because they're keeping me in dark and I have a lot of questions in my mind.
And when I started reading bl I gradually understand their struggles in life. And I asked my friend if they're doing sex and I'm confused on how they do it. I asked a lot of questions which pissed her off. Some lgbt says some yaois and yuris are not realistic so I asked if how they do it?
Is it they asked their partners who's on top and who's the bottom? Did they researched first before they do it or just let the love flow? I wanna know so that I can't offend anyone by asking this irl.

asking them about their sex positions is a big no. would you ask a straight person if theyre a top or bottom?? many of yaoi and yuri mangas are in fact unrealistic and fetishize queer individuals, since they are written by straight people for straight people. its not logical to become educated about the lgbt community by reading mangas. you should ...... reply
It sounds as if you're a bit on the young side and we've all had those growing pains about now knowing how to ask questions the right way. It's something I tell my students all the time and help them correct their behavior with when they ask other ESL students about where they grew up.
