will you guys, like, get married one day ?
So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
To me personally marriage isn't really important. But since I want to adopt in the future, it seems like it's going to be necessary. I looked up the laws of the country I'll be living in, and you need to be married for 3 years to be eligible for it. It didn't say anything about same sex couples though, so I'm a bit worried. ^^; 1 reply
