Do gay men prefer reading Bara or Yaoi?
I'm a bisexual girl and I've read that supposedly Bara was directed towards gay men originally and I'm curious whether they actually like it more. By Bara ofc I don't mean a muscular character design but ya know the over exaggerated kind that you see on myreadingmanga
I personally only go for yaoi because there’s more of a story, but I guess Bara is sought after because there usually is only smut (especially on myreadingmanga). In the end I don’t really have a preference over the other, although I can’t speak for any others. 1 reply
