Fuck "Enemies to Lovers", the only way to go is to have enemies/rivals in a constant fight with each other— but they have this immense sexual tension between them that they just end up banging behind everyone's back from time to time. FAKE LOVERS to lovers.
It's the trope where they pretend to date eachother for personal gain but then they slowly actually fall in love. I enjoy it especially if it's a comedy. But honestly, 90% of the time that trope is written better in any media OUTSIDE of manga.(️ This boo...... 2 reply

However I feel like this dynamic opens up toxic behaviors where they would be better if they were not together, instead of this banter to each other and relatively harmless pranks they do to the other person (essentially done right). But I feel like authors quickly fall into this trap and it sucks .

Peak drama and bleeding angst, sexual tension, too much history and memories, miscommunication, misunderstandings, storyline from kids to adult, makes it even more stressful yet intriguing. Slow burn heart attack timelines and wasted opportunities, cardiac arrest fights hurting feelings.
