When You Are Reading Yaoi. Does Your PARENT suspect that you are reading something inappropriate??

I read mostly in my room so, no. It's because I drown myself in the story so I like to be alone, and not just yaoi but other stuff too. But my mom and brother know that I read something called manga and they would never think that I may actually read something inappropriate^^   reply

I only ever read fanfiction in front of them so no. Anything visual I would stick to reading in my room. They already knew I liked manga and things like that so they didn't really question it. I came clean about a year ago though and bought a bunch of physical books they know not to open though. XD   reply

Reading yaoi in front of your parents? Are you mental? Why would you do that lmao. Even though my parents already know I read yaoi, I would never read it in public. My anxiety would murder me, I probably won’t be able to focus on the story. Only read yaoi in your bedroom at 1am in the morning kids.   reply

no, not even when i was younger. i had a lot of privacy and my family never looked since they've no idea how to do it. ever since i came out as gay, then know i consume gay as fuck shit content all the time, but they never assume anything. i used to have such a major poker face, could read smut for days and is an expert in angling my phone/compute......   reply

not really. My family knows im into anime/manga and whatnot but they don't know theres THAT sort of genre to it. Even if they found out it was gay, they support the LGBT community anyway so i dont really think they would mind   1 reply
