will you guys, like, get married one day ?
So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I honestly, seriously doubt it. My way of life and my view on relationships is not exactly traditional (my sexual identity isn´t, either), so I can´t see why I should ever agree to such a very traditional, heteronormative bonding ritual... but yes, I can ttly see the pressure.
Living in a small town (as I do now) makes it even worse than living ...... reply
