what do you think about hitting children who don't behave?
I'm not talking about leaving them with childhood trauma, but like, an ass whooping or something to scare them a bit, or do you think it's better trying to teach them by talking alone?
As a parent, your authority is not supposed to be based on fear. Hitting kids is not effective and it creates trauma. Kids don't make the connection between physical punishment and their behaviors. Even if you don't do it a lot, there are consequences in parents-kid relations. As an adult you don't beat up other people right? So why would you hit a...... reply
