Thoughts about rape in fiction?
Its here. We need to talk about this. I personally don't get why's people being mad about rape in mangas, manhwas, fanfics, etc. I mean sure its okay to have opinions. But sometimes, i saw some people commenting, saying how they dont support rape etc, even blaming the manga-- Even when the translator literally put a warning. Me personally, it doesn't bother me a lot since i know the difference between fantasy and reality. But i want to know other people's thoughts too.
To answer I'll use two mangas as an example.
The first is: If You Do Not Obey Me, the second: Hogu Hagyeongsu.
They both contain rape, they are both messed up, but I couldn't even complete the first one because the author excused the very graphic rape and kidnapping of their character with the "Aw... seme had a crush" excuse. The author set the...... 2 reply
