What makes yaoi so special?
Can fujoshis please explain to me what they find so interesting about yaoi? I've seen a lot of fujoshis that put yaoi up on a pedestal like it's the superior form of media, when it's really just gay hentai
I can enjoy a good BL story, but I'm confused as to why some fujoshis argue that it's better than stories with hetero relationships, and even going as far as to say "it would be better if it was yaoi"
I hope nobody takes this the wrong way. I'm just very curious to hear others' opinions on the matter
I think people are so drawn in by yaoi because it's so hard to find media representation of male struggles with romance and feeling. In all other media the stereotypical idea of 'manliness' and guys being all tough and above feelings is pushed and presented in every possible way.
