If someone treats a real gay man as if they are an object to entertain and arouse them, then yes, that would be homophobia and objectifying/fetishizing gay men.
But all you know about women who read yaoi/BL is that they enjoy fiction. Maybe we objectify the characters in BL, but fictional characters are already objects, they're not real. reply
