Why do you read yaoi?
Based off another question on here, but I just realized that I read a lot of yaoi stories (I read other things too, its not just exclusively yaoi content) but I don't really have any reason why I like it other than it's entertaining? Like I have no super deep or emotional reason to read so much of it, but I do anyway? Does that even make sense? So I'm just curious as to why other people read it and like it so much, because maybe then I can relate and understand myself more?
Once upon a time I used to be a shoujo junkie, the amount of shoujo I read, watch and owned was no joke. But reading shoujo soon began a spark of sadness because girls finding their love. One fateful day I discovered BL and shipping guys was a new door of the universe (Through I low key shipped puzzleshipping subconsciously as a kid).
