Why do you read yaoi?
Based off another question on here, but I just realized that I read a lot of yaoi stories (I read other things too, its not just exclusively yaoi content) but I don't really have any reason why I like it other than it's entertaining? Like I have no super deep or emotional reason to read so much of it, but I do anyway? Does that even make sense? So I'm just curious as to why other people read it and like it so much, because maybe then I can relate and understand myself more?
For me it's entertaning and interesting since it's a situation I'll never be able to experience, being a woman and all. Isn't it the same facination that some men have towards two girls or why some straight guys read Yuri? I've also noticed that most shoju focus on drama in private life/school life with little to no action and I have enough of that...... reply
