There is no such things as too young or too old. That's depending on each ones. You can be 10 and be mature enough to read/watch R rated stuff, enjoying that and not be shocked or becoming a perverse unhinged (and I know people like that, who were in elementary school but have the thought and the interests of a high schooler).
