My parents want me to work out
Hey people, i want to vent. I've been really sport depressed for two months now(ye..) and so i wanted to work out again and my parents talked about it with me and i was kinda excited to start but then my dad said 'you need to do sport to attract girls. ' and the idea of doing sport again after he said that turned me off. i'm a gay male and all my life people have told me to work out/do sport not to be healthy but in a toxic masculinity way (just to get girls basically) and idk what to do
Do whaterver you want to do for yourself not for anyone else. Let them delude themselves if they want. You know who you are and that's what matters. reply
