will you guys, like, get married one day ?
So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I'm 38 years old and straight. I've been in a relationship with my partner for about 14 years and we have a daughter but tbh I don't plan and don't wish to get married. I've never felt the need to have this kind of commitment and I don't believe that it's necessary so long as you love the other person. I don't care if we have different family names...... 2 reply
