Reasons why someone would learn a foreign language
Why makes you learn a foreign language? and if you already speak a foreign language, do you plan to use your understanding of a language to have a job in the future?
I speak Spanish (first language) and English, but I'm also trying to learn Italian. I never thought about getting a job being a translator, interpreter or teacher, but that would be an opportunity that I could take in the meantime.
Except for my mother language, I speak English for possible jobs in the future, not necessarily as a translator (it's not my field) but bc it's often required to know it. But in general I'm interested in foreign languages to travel and see places, not having problems with the language barrier so I can enjoy myself and also because I find all langua...... 1 reply
