So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now. There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married. If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you. But honestly ? seriously? will you ?
I am married. Have been for 5 years. I know the pressure to settle down have kids blah blah. It helped ruin one of my previous relationships that I had been in.
Personal opinion , marriage is not necessary. I know.. you are probably asking why I did anyway. First why it isn't necessary - if you are in a relationship where you are happy and heal...... 1 reply
