I didn't really know what "black-washing" was until I came across a video of someone making Senku have a darker skin tone with Afrocentric features, As a Black person (from the Caribbean) im confused on the reason for that? My stance on this is shaky, and I would really like if you guys would share ur opinion on it.
As there is "white-washing", there could also be "black-washing". This due to the fact that there have to be lots of diversity. If 80% of a group is of the same race "it would be whatever race that is- washing". Just because lots of things happened to africans- americans as a whole doesn't mean can bypass it.
