Thoughts about rape in fiction?
Its here. We need to talk about this. I personally don't get why's people being mad about rape in mangas, manhwas, fanfics, etc. I mean sure its okay to have opinions. But sometimes, i saw some people commenting, saying how they dont support rape etc, even blaming the manga-- Even when the translator literally put a warning. Me personally, it doesn't bother me a lot since i know the difference between fantasy and reality. But i want to know other people's thoughts too.
It's disgusting and I am far concerned about how normalized it is in the yaoi genre. I get turned off and have to reevaluate my life whenever I stumble across such Mangas. I don't mean the protagonist talking about rape and sharing his concern. I mean the protagonist being raped and pretending it's okay to go back to the one who raped him and excus...... 1 reply
