Can you call it grooming in romance stories, where they met when the mc is an Adult and the guy theyre supposed to be in a relationship later on in the story was a child.. and they watched him grow up? like basically raising him and shit but later on develops feelings for him when he's a full grown adult? does that make sense like.. Imagine raising a kid and watching him grow up? how do you feel about it when you read a story involving that plot?
i think it really depends because a lot of times its grooming adjacent and that is seriously dangerous. This topic needs to be more naunced in terms of what age the boy was and when the feelings developed.
