Am i too young for yaoi?
Hello! i'm a 12 years old fujoshi that lives in germany I began reading yaoi a year ago and i really love it! But i can't find any people that like yaoi and are in my age i'm always scared that people will say i'm too young or i probably don't understand it
Im gonna be the devils' advocate here but i started pretty young at like around 11 and consistently read yaoi for years (i've graduated hs btw) and i don't think yaoi has negatively affected me honestly. Just make sure you know the differences between reality vs fiction. The importance of consent irl etc, because rape and such are glorified in yaoi...... 1 reply
