I think I answered this before but whatever. I absolutely HATE when a independent, smart and likeable mc suddenly gets overly depended on the love interest(s) and suddenly become dumb and oblivious, and also unbearably obnoxious with the "I like him but he probably doesn't like me even though we did the ding dong bing bong like 69420907 times!"
