Is it just me or has the discussion around the usage of those terms COMPLETELY died down?
It has always been widely spread but damn, at least we were talking about it. Now everyone's just using it, no matter what the content is. Like can we please stop calling fluff BL guys uke/seme????? As if you'd even know how they fuck.... and why do you care
Isn't it alright to use uke/seme in the correct setting? Like I'd never use them for real people etc. but in a yaoi mangas where a couple has their assigned roles in bed(bc let's be real switching is almost nonexistent in mangas sadly) then these are the terminologies that were crated to refer to them. I remember a time when we just enjoyed the story, called them however we wanted, and went on our way, instead of bitching all day about "correct" ways to address some characters we'll forget in a couple days.
