Never take anything too seriously. I debate for fun and when the people I debate with get all heated the point always gets lost and turns into a pointless argument. However, my tip: that is the prime time to start trolling them because then it gets fun again.

I don't debate but I DO just say random shit and watch people get mad about it. I'm often not wrong factually but I do look things up online to prove my point because the facts are what matter most or something idk reply
Debating is fun when your opp isn't a dumb stupid fucker who won't consider your facts. I hate debating about politics or social issues cause they often pull out the bible card.
But anyway, just gather facts and be confident with what you know. Confidence, persuasiveness, and delivery of words are the key to win any debate. 1 reply
The most important part while debating people is knowing where and who to debate with. For example debating on Instagram comments is the most useless thing you could do with your time. Debate is funny asf its my favorite but if you gonna debate choose your side wisely think if you say this what information gonna counterattack it by that you can know what side is best or what side most likely to have sense

Don't swear 'cause if you swear, you immediately lost the debate. Always use formal english 'cause you wanna make them feel that you're superior to them. Use sarcastic sentences. You have to always the one that ends the debate, like even if you know you're wrong unless you have evidences, don't end it, 'cause if you do, it's ovb who wins. reply
Debating is pretty pointless, it's purely about how much you can own the other person and the actual facts don't matter much(academic debates are different obv). If you want to be a good debater you just need to be a good orator reply
