reading bl is so exhausting for a number of reasons (at least for me) and yes it is not a representation of the community itself so it's honestly fucking disgusting when some would equate it to reality. it's also horrifying that individuals who are self-proclaimed homophobic would admit with their whole chest that they fetishize gay men and it makes me sick. plus the underlying misogynistic theme of a lot of bl titles
It does make me sick as well. It is so cringey when people fetishize ppl in the lgbtq community, when they are straight especially. Unfortunately a good chunk of the BL community are horny girls that don’t get enough dick and spend too much time on their phones. I personally set BL in their OWN world.
