Why do people who read Yaoi with literally mafia bosses and demons, or even the devil himself as ml get shocked when they r*pe the mc. Like, they kill people without thinking twice, and you think they wouldn't r*pe someone? And then y'all get mad at the authors, saying that they are psychopaths and shit. I ain't pro r*pe but if the character is already shown as a bad character from the start, I will not be shocked if he does that too.
Because it's sickening, even if it's fictional, that rape is romanticized (in some mangas, actually in a lot of mangas). We know it's fictional and it's all based on the author's ideas and whatnot, it's just that when rape is shown in a romance setting and uses rape as a way for two characters to build connection is just crazy.
